Jamia Millia Islamia Distance Education or Centre for Distance and Open Learning of Jamia Millia Islamia Was Established as a Part of Jamia Millia Islamia University on September 2002. It is Approved and Recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and Distance Education Council (DEC). Apart From this the Centre for Distance and Open Learning of Jamia Millia Islamia Courses are Recognized by the UGC-DEB and Approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The Center Has Established Various Learner Support Centres in the Context of Students’ Aid, Which Are Located in the Different States of India Including Rajasthan, Assam, Haryana, Punjab, Bihar, Up, West Bengal, Kerala, Delhi, and the National Capital Region.
The Centre for Distance and Open Learning of Jamia Millia Islamia is also Known as Arjun Singh Centre for Distance and Open Learning. The Purpose of Setting Up This Center is to Educate Those People Who Are Unable to Get Admission to the Regular Courses Available in Various Universities. This May Be Due to Their Poor Financial Condition. Through This Center for Distance and Open Learning, Students Can Enroll in Various Courses Here by Paying a Low Fee. The Jamia Millia Islamia Distance Education Admission Process Depends on the Entrance Test For Some Professional Courses Including B.Ed, MBA Programmes, and Other Courses Admission Offered through Spot Admission Process. Steps For Filling the Application Form of Jamia Millia Islamia Distance Education:
- First of All, Visit the University’s Official Website to Download the Application Form of CDOL Various Courses which is https://www.jmi.ac.in/cdol. (Apart From the Official Website, The Candidates Can Also Visit the CDOL, Jamia Millia Islamia to Obtain the Application Form.)
- After Obtaining the Application Form, Now Submit It With Required Documents Along With the Application Fee and the Programme Fee in Person to the Programme Coordinator of the Concerned Programme.
Important Points For the Application Form:
- The Students Have to Pay Both the Application Fee and Program Fee of the Concerned Programme Together in the Same Demand Draft (DD) Except B.Ed and MBA Programme.
- Students Should Enclose Their Colored Passport Size Photograph (Taken Within the Last Three Months) With the Application Form.
