Jamia Hamdard University offers various scholarships and fellowships for its students in addition to the government-funded schemes provided by the Government of India and the Delhi Government. Jamia Hamdard University scholarships and fellowships 2025 are given below:

For Students of All Schools of Jamia Hamdard:

  • Hamdard National Foundation (HNF) Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Limited to Ph.D. students based on merit-cum-means.
  • Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti Ajmeri (Gharib Nawaz) Merit-cum-Means Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Awarded based on an essay writing competition about the life and work of Khwaja Gharib Nawaz.
  • Dr. L. M. Singhvi Gold Medallion (or Silver Shield) of Accolade
    • Eligibility: Awarded to the first and second winners of an essay competition on a subject of topical importance related to interfaith dialogue.

For Students of the School of Chemical and Life Sciences:

  • Mrs. Shakila Naqvi Merit Scholarship
    • Eligibility: Awarded to Muslim female students of M.Sc. II year who secured the highest marks in M.Sc. I year.

    • Eligibility: Awarded to students of B.Sc. (Nursing) II year based on merit-cum-means who pass all subjects of the first year.

    • Eligibility: Awarded to students of BMLT III Year based on merit-cum-need.

Jamia Hamdard University Scholarships Fee Assistance for 2025:

  1. Students’ Aid Fund: Jamia Hamdard offers financial assistance to students with parents/guardians earning less than Rs. 4.5 lakh per year, subject to availability and academic performance criteria.
    • 50% Fee Concession: Available from the 2nd year onward based on merit and meeting the following criteria:
      • 75% class attendance.
      • 90% or higher aggregate marks in the previous academic year.
      • Parent’s income not exceeding Rs. 4.5 lakh per year.
      • Good academic performance verified by the department head and endorsed by the Dean.
    • 25% Fee Concession: Available from the 2nd year onward based on merit and meeting the following criteria:
      • 75% class attendance.
      • 80% or higher aggregate marks in the previous academic year.
      • Parent’s income not exceeding Rs. 4.5 lakh per year.
      • Good academic performance verified by the department head and endorsed by the Dean.
    • Fee concessions may also be granted in exceptional cases, like natural disasters or parental loss.
  2. Guidelines for Foreign Nationals: Foreign students can apply for partial fee concessions from the Students’ Aid Fund with the following criteria:
    • 25% Discount: Available from the 2nd year onward based on performance in a particular course.
      • 75% class attendance.
      • 85% or higher aggregate marks in the previous academic year.
      • Passed all subjects on the first attempt.
      • Good academic performance verified by the department head and endorsed by the Dean.
    • 15% Discount: Available for the previous academic year with the following conditions:
      • 75% class attendance.
      • 65% or higher aggregate marks in the previous academic year.
      • Passed all subjects on the first attempt.
      • Good academic performance verified by the department head and endorsed by the Dean.
  3. Note for SAARC Countries: Students who receive scholarships once will not be considered for other scholarships.
