IFTM University is a State Private University that is Recognized by the State Government of Uttar Pradesh, Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bar Council of India (BCI), and Affiliated with the University Grants Commission (UGC) and a Member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The University Was Founded in the Year of 1996 and Established as a University by the UP government vide IFTM University Act No. 24 of 2010.
The University is Located in the Area of 58.74 Acres of Land in the City of Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. The University Was Affiliated With the NAAC, PCI, NCTE, BCI and a Member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The University Offer Various Diploma, UG, PG and Doctoral levels in Engineering, Biotechnology, Education, Journalism, Computer Application, Microbiology, Business Management, Pharmacy, Arts, Sciences, Law and Mass Communication, Social Science, etc.
IFTM University Was the Only Private Institution in the Entire State of Uttar Pradesh That Got Selected Under the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP Phase-II) of the National Project Implementation Unit (NPIU) Established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The Objective of This Programme is to Strengthen the Research and Postgraduate Departments and Their Facilities in the Faculty of Engineering & Technology.
The University Has Also Applied to the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for the Accreditation of Its PG Programmes Offered in the Departments of Computer Sc. & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering in June 2015. All the Courses Offered by Universities Which Are Governed by Various Councils Like PCI, BCI, NCTE Etc Are Approved by These Councils and Secure Approvals/renewals as Required by Them From Time to Time.

Exams Are Conducted Strictly as Per the Schedule of the Academic Calendar and Results Are Declared Within a Week’s Time After the Completion of the Exams.
